Andrew G. Rozycki - Associate General Counsel and Senior Patent Counsel

Andrew G. Rozycki joined the OGC in March of 2008. Andrew is responsible for drafting and prosecuting patent applications; managing domestic and foreign patent protection; conducting or supervising patentability and infringement opinions; working with faculty inventors and the Office for Technology Commercialization to evaluate and prioritize patentable inventions. Andrew has served as patent counsel for a number of pharmaceutical and medical device corporations for twelve years, and was a patent Examiner in the USPTO biotechnology and pharmaceutical chemistry groups for four years. He received his BS degree in biology from the College of William and Mary, and JD degree from Hamline University Law School. He is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and has experience in pharmaceutical and medical device patent protection; commercialization and enforcement both within the U.S. and abroad.
