SENIOR ASSOCIATE GENERAL COUNSEL
Ben is a member of the Transactions Group, where he advises on a variety of business matters including contracts, purchasing, external sales, and athletics. Prior to coming to the University of Minnesota in 2023, Ben served as Assistant General Counsel at Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, supporting the Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School of Addiction Studies, as well as recovery services and publishing. Ben also worked as in-house counsel at Center for Diagnostic Imaging, and as a corporate attorney at Minneapolis law firms Lindquist & Vennum and Larkin Hoffman. Ben received his JD from the University of Minnesota Law School and his BA from Washington University in St. Louis.
