SENIOR ASSOCIATE GENERAL COUNSEL
Brent worked in the OGC from 2005 to early 2023, left for a short stint in private practice, then rejoined the OGC in late 2023. He is a member of the Litigation Group, and works in the Labor and Employment Law area. He also advises the Athletics Department on Title IX and NCAA compliance issues. Prior to joining the OGC in 2005, Brent spent thirteen years in private practice, in Denver, Colorado, and Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He received his law degree from the University of Minnesota Law School, and his bachelor's degree from Luther College.
