SAGE ACT! 2005 SOFTWARE CLASS ACTION SETTLEMENT

The University and many of its units have received notice of a class action settlement involving Sage Software. Under this settlement, the University is entitled to $45 for each valid license for ACT! 2005, ACT! 2005 Premium for Workgroups, or ACT! Premium for Web 2005 held from June 1, 2004 to November 28, 2007. You may make a claim if you purchased and registered ACT! 2005 software, and have not received a refund, credit, or services from Sage as the result of a complaint about the software.

To recover under the settlement, a claim must be submitted by May 23, 2008. The claim form is available in the Office of General Counsel or at http://www.mysoftwaresettlement.com. The form cannot be submitted online; it must be printed, completed, and then mailed to the address on the form. If you have questions or would like assistance completing the form, please contact Beth Kendrick, Paralegal, Office of the General Counsel at (612) 624-9038.
