DRAM Class Action Settlement

The University and many of its units have received notice of a class action settlement involving DRAM products sold by several manufacturers. Under this settlement, the University is entitled to a pro rata share of the $325 million settlement based on the dollar amount it paid directly to DRAM manufacturers for purchases between April 1, 1999 and June 30, 2002. You may make a claim if you purchased DRAM from Elpida Memory, Inc., Elpida Memory (USA) Inc., Hynix Semiconductor, Inc., Hynix Semiconductor America, Inc., Infineon Technologies AG, Mosel-Vitelic, Inc., Mosel Vitelic Corp., NEC Electronics America, Inc., Nanya Technology Corporation USA, or Sumsung Electronics Company, Ltd. Specific information can be found at http://www.dramantitrustsettlement.com.

To recover under the settlement, a claim must be submitted by December 31, 2007. The claim form is at http://www.dramantitrustsettlement.com, and may be either completed and submitted online, or downloaded and printed for mailing.
